Review
The Civic cafe is located across from the Public Library and next to
the DCC. The Civic cafe is the perfect coffee stop when visiting the public library. We popped by one Friday morning before heading to Story Time with the kiddies to give them some morning tea and a quick coffee break for ourselves. Now the kiddies are 18 months and full of energy our cafe experiences are much shorter ;)
The cafe has plenty of space for pushchairs and is easily accessible. It has basic food with typical tearoom type cabinet food- pies, sandwiches as well as a menu. However, the food is reasonably priced. Their coffee is the locally roasted primo blend Capo.

Patrons typically consist of local businesses and the elderly but the cafe certainly caters for children and families. It may not be the most glamorous cafe but the friendly staff make for an easy enjoyable experience if you're in the area or visiting the library.
